Data Processing in the Context of Our Services
Our services include the production of custom dental jewelry.
In order to manufacture the jewelry accurately, physical dental impressions may be taken as part of the order process. In addition, 3D scans may be created to produce a digital model of the jewelry.
Dental impressions and 3D scans constitute personal data, as they may allow conclusions to be drawn about your individual dental structure.
The processing of this data is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as it is necessary for the performance of the contract concluded with you for the production of custom dental jewelry.
Physical dental impressions and all 3D scans will be destroyed or permanently deleted no later than six (6) months after completion of the order and delivery of the finished dental jewelry.
This retention period serves to process possible warranty claims, adjustment requests, or follow-up orders. After expiry of this period, the physical impressions will be destroyed in compliance with data protection regulations and the digital data will be securely deleted.
